“It’s all about mobility and fast access. I would really need a durable camera sling bag that I can use in any weather for front access when skiing, hiking, climbing & abseiling into chutes.”

A Passion for Problem-Solving

Every product we make takes root in our community of creatives, skiers, snowboarders and surfers. They offer us invaluable insights that shape our product development goals and the challenges we aim to conquer. Rather than shying away from the challenges our community sends our way, we wholeheartedly embrace them. We actively seek opportunities to tackle complex issues head-on.

The ask
When creative visionaries like Chris Burkard approach us with their needs, we get excited. The real challenge here would be making the Sling Bag as multifunctional as possible, just like our Ramverk Backpacks.

Our way of working
Our Scandinavian design philosophy centers on enhancing everyday life in a simple way. We aim to make our products last long, and to work in a multitude of settings. In this case the sling Chris asked for needed to work as well in the cities meeting clients as on challenging assignments in places like the Icelanding highlands or Utah's canyons. The versatile Ramverk sling bag that we spent 2 years developing with Chris really embodies this multifunctional ethos.

The solution
The outcome is a product that marries simplicity with practicality, engineered to function seamlessly everywhere you go. The key feature of the product is the expandable zipper seamlessly transitioning the very sleek messenger pack for personal items to a durable, weatherproof camera sling. Just unzip the expandable gussets, attach the hip belt and insert the Ramverk Cinch Top Camera Insert to transform it into a camera sling ready to follow you into any adventure you throw at it.

Fits like a glove
The bag's slight asymmetrical shape that snugly fits your body and the padded shoulder pad is there for day-long comfort during your long adventure with heavy gear in the pack. If you want it to sit even tighter there’s a removable hip belt to ensure that the bag does not fling around when you're out and about on a mission.

Fast, weatherproof access

Experience uninterrupted gear access with our dual access zipper, allowing you to reach your stuff seamlessly, whether you prefer left-to-right or right-to-left access. The center opening protects the valuables from wind, rain, sand or whatever comes its way. We’ve also added a discreet security pocket, on your back ensuring that SD cards, house keys and wallet are always close by but out of reach from pick-pocketers. For those with a lot of knick-knacks, we’ve added two interior zippered mesh pockets, providing both storage and peace of mind.

“When on assignment durability and gear accessibility is key. Together with Db we’ve made a camera sling that is genuinely quick-access; something I can use skiing, hiking, climbing and repelling.”

All in all, this is a bag that’s been 2 years in the making. It has been designed to meet the exact needs of Chris when he’s on location making it utterly unique. If you want to change your shoot-game for good, don’t miss out on this ultra exclusive, limited edition collection. Only 500 units are being made, so don’t miss out on the good stuff.
