Anyway, Jordy Smith is a man that can leap between opposing worlds with relative ease. Which is why we shouldn’t have been surprised when we introduced him to Db and he passionately engaged with the products, despite being in the thick of a world title race. Since then, Jordy has played an integral role in developing our surf program, and has shown his confidence in the results by investing his hard earned cash into Db itself.

Career Highlights

1. Earned his first two Championship Tour wins in front of a home-country crowd at Jeffreys Bay, South Africa.

2. Two-time runner up for the World Title in 2010 & 2016.

3. Three more top 5 finishes in 2017 and 2018 and 2019. Jordy was 2019 selected to represent South Africa at the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games.
